The seafood export turnover of the province in October hit US$23 million, raising the 10-month value to US$250 million.
Khanh Hoa’s seafood exports for the first ten months reached 81 percent of the year’s target with 46,000 MT, in which shrimps accounted for 67 percent. In term of value, the October figure hit US$23 million, raising the 10-month value to US$250 million, up 20 percent year-on-year and equivalent to 86 percent of the year’s target.
Vietnamese seafood exports to Japan are expected to increase for the rest of the year as the Viet Nam -Japan economic Partnership Agreement takes off. Khanh Hoa’s seafood producers are boosting their production to top up supplies for the months coming.
